Well...crud in the gas tank! Exact same sediment looking stuff as my Eliminator.  I'm going to do my best to filter it out by recirculating the gas through the pick up to a filter, through the electric pump, then dumped back into the fuel fill. This method worked well for the Eliminator.

In other news, teak oil is awesome!

Wes came by today and spent some time with the boat. I'll get some pics in the sunlight eventually. I'm jealous of everyone that's at the river this weekend!

Looks great Jordan.  Are we going to see you at Fathers Day?

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I should be able to make it out there. I still need to figure out a place to stay, I might be rolling solo.

I still have the boat. Gas tanks are clear of debris and she's running strong. I probably put twenty hours on the boat over the last month.

I haven't had a chance to run it hard and GPS it. I'd say low 60's at least and the motor is in the 450hp range.

You better get more than that out of it. My 86 Advantage open bow(same as yours) had a mild 460, Berk E pump, loader, diverter, ride plate and bolt on shoe and GPS'ed at 72 or 73. The Circus Boat hauled ass for what it was. Liked to walk a little in the upper 60's just to let you know it was aired out.
Nice boat!

Was yours the 18' or 20'? I'd really like to see what this boat can do. This summer it pulled family duty at Havasu so it was loaded up or too choppy. That Canyon you're working on is cool! I can't wait to see it on the water.

The Circus Boat was a 18, same hull design as Rogers Bonneville. Not a lake boat by any means, and will occasionally make your ass pucker crossing wakes.
Getting kinda antsy myself about getting the Canyon wet, but the priority is getting as much river time as I can. It's not my first choice for dealing with lake lice and the general stupidity tourists bring. After Labor Day the tourists will be gone, I'll get the river back and be able really leg this sucker.
