Yeah it keeps me busy, It runs fine now. The wiring was a bit ify, that was the first thing, safety. It is just an eyesore now so I'm doing what I can on the cheap for asthetics.

I don't see many first generation sleekcraft day cruisers around. pics are hard to come by... but here is a favorite. There are a lot of Ambassadors around compared to Execs.

Yea, we've been chatting Ray. I asked for some pics to see how I'd like mine to come out. I'll ask nordie to send the pics of us doing the floor. Then I can do the carpet and go float that bad boy! I'll update the thread as it progresses.

Nordie sent me some pics of you guys ripping up the floor on his phone, Terry, looks like fun times! Lol!

Hopefully, you keep yours long enough, and Danger shows up, for the Temple Bar trip next March, my target for my 'Shrimpin Boat'...

I think we got enough fuel, size and capacity in these three jet boats to make an epic trip to cruise the entrance to the Grand Canyon this time around!

We'll just leave the Hot Rods on the beach and everyone pile in!

Danger, you're ahead of Terry, good looking boat. Little progress is still progress. You're light years ahead of me, but we WILL start posting pics when we hit the homestretch with mine!

Here are some more changes. I did the trim tonight but no pics yet. It was painted over green so I drilled out the rivets, wire wheeled it then 180 grit and reassembled, looks way nicer.

Here is the dash trim after i removed it wire wheeled it then used 180 grit on it, it looks way nicer unpainted, the last owner was a maniac !
