We took the boat out this afternoon and came across something I had never seen before in a jet boat- Temperature- Help from the Guru's Please- This thing runs 150 to 190 water temp- acted almost like it has a thermostat- Do these things have that??? My old boat and all my buddies boats run 100- 135?
i dont but im all for stuffin shit in her ass to make her go away
the water outlet on the intake manifold has 4 ports intstead of 2- WTF??
Welcome to the club of broken boats Pay here$ bend over and move along.
If it looks like this its a thermostat. (Attachment Link)
I am a little confused. I know a lot of folks dont run thermostats on their jet boats, but i dont understand why you wouldnt. 150-190 isnt that high. From my understanding, engines dont even produce 100% of their power until they get to 165-ish anyway. Running an engine at 100 degrees is going to rob a ton of power. At least that is MY understanding of it.
NO REGRET$ ... Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics / no matter how good you do you're still retarded!!!!!
Not if you run a water pressure relief setup. http://www.performancejet.com/techtalkNEW.htm
