So after all this scoop talk and how it adds hp and mph. I decided to clean mine. Even used a light rubbing compound. Got a lot of scratches out. At first it was an added 5 mph BUT NOW ALL CLEAN it is a solid 7-8 mph.

Scoops don't add any actual horsepower, I think it actually makes your dick feel less small.

For the first time I wanted to punch my engine in the throat. Driveline doesnt seem to fit. Too tight. Got a whole bunch of frustrated. My buddy mentioned perhaps a thicker crank flange or who knows they might of ran the last one not the right way.

But ive heard VERY bad things about the 3 point mounts with any kind of decent hp... Theres a thread on PB about it.

New game plan that tamsone6 and I came up with.....

We are going to ignore the driveline for now. But what we are going to do is get this bitch running and broke in. Just do it in the driveway on the hose since driveline is off. THEN yank it out to drain the oil and fix the driveline. BAM!

We made sick ass progress tonight. We just got everything lined up, but not completely locked down. Fuel pump dumped what I had left in the tanks perfectly. That made me super happy. In a weird way. THEN I just barely turned the key and HOLY SHIT the engine slightly turned over. Very exciting! Guess what's happening next weekend? Break in!!! Now we are drinking! Tamsone6 is my boy that kicks so much ass. We are getting so close. Made my pickle twitch like Glenn's.

Attached starter, attached alternator and all electrical. Wanted to do the headers but didnt have antisieze for the heads. Eat it bitches!
