« on: March 28, 2008, 02:48:25 PM »
It was brought to my attention that I only come on here to bust Lucky Stiffs balls and that just isn't true!

I've been popping in and out since last summer... never really had much to offer to the discussion....

Anyways, my name is Jason, for the last 10 years or so, I've been lucky enough to work from home doing lotsa welding and fabricating... along the way, I've had the opportunity to help some pals build some pretty neat shit. you can check some of it out here:

www.johnsonsgarage.com

My boat doesn't really apply here (??) but I still like checkin in.... this place reminds me of hot rodding about 10 years ago... lotsa folks willing to help each other!

Here it is, the title says 78 Pantera but who knows who made it.

its gotta fun 468 and a turbo 400.

we were chasing some fuel delivery problems last year but I think we've got it all figured out now...

BTW Brad, you need to put a disclaimer on the tshirts.. they definitely aren't fire proof!  ;D

Ok, not so much fame, maybe notoriety, turst me man, it happens. 15 years ago I could have introduced you to my friend, we just called him Asshole James, that's what he was, that was his name, now he's known as Jimmy Shine, and yes, he's still an asshole.

While you're thinking about transmissions in boats... someone was telling me you can add a trans to a jet boat for a better holeshot and top speed. I'm thinking if it were that easy it would be really common to see transmissions in jet boats. What's JBP .02, fact or B.S.? ???

I'll call BS, just think of all the dissadvantages, jets are instant rpms it would shift b4 it got on plane, moving the engine forward, adding weight, plus trannys rob HP.

But in a v-drive 8)

I know all about that boat.....Grier Rush rigged the boat, and that engine was built by Motor Magic. Heath Hiebert owned that boat. He had a blown 518" in that thing at one point!!!
