I think the differance is this, you don't have to screw yourself to the seat to stay in the boat

I still have the throttle/shifter in the boat. But I did install a foot throttle and I just disconected the throttle cable from the shifter.

Here ya go Beav.... From the middle of the mount from side to side 67" and from the mount back (where it turns behind the rear seat) is 52". Here are few pics so you can see where the mount is on the boat and how it looks when it is open.
