After the last couple holiday weekends at the river I've come to the conclusion that this boat isn't made to deal with the chop of roundy round racin. Wife wants something bigger(story of my life) and I don't really blame her. I'm lookin for a 18-19.5 v bottom. Either a spectra or eliminator formula. Something closed bow that rides through chop. It's a shame what wakeboard boats have done to the river, but in big river there's just too many.

I dont have any desire to have a boat that big at this point in time. I like being low on the water. 19' would be pretty ideal. 19 spectra,formula,rayson, schiada all good 19' low profile boats that cut through the chop like a hot knife through butter. I would'nt be opposed to a tunnel either

I'm also looking at upgrading to something bigger as well. I currently have a 19' and I want to step up to a 21' like kaOtyk mentioned. I've never been in a 19' that cuts thru chop like a hot butter, but it definiteley will be better that what you have now. If I were in the market for a larger boat now, I'd offer you my Rogers. But with a kid on the way, I'm gonna have to wait. Good luck with the boat hunt.

well since nobody will buy this piece of crap I'm looking at another winter of working on it.
plans are:
do the bottom
make a set of stack tanks and put them behind the back seat.
paint the boat. Gonna go old school metallics and maybe some lace. capped and shaved.
paint the trailer
might make new headers.
