That thing is coming togather nicely- I think that the dominator stuff will switch- If you want to come get it and try it you are more than welcome to- it is sittin in my garage taking up space- I dont think we are gonna make it out till first of June- my barge is in bad shape, and puck's is not far off, but he'll have me beat- fiberglass buckets would look sick in that thing- when is the first trip with it???

Friday mornin! Goin out alone, ole ladys gotta work. I'm anxious to see how it all goes. Gt hooked me upwith all the jet parts already, but I appreciate it. Dude June? That blows. What spot are u guys in? We moved up to the row you were on. Tomorrow I hope to button everything up.

update, yesterday
i got tires for the trailer
re wired and installed the new bilge and switch, so now i have 2 @ 360gph
mounted the speaker panels
made battery cables and wired up the battery isolation switch.
siliconed the trailer wires to the trailer on the inside
today i have to make some battery mounts, temporary till i can afford those fancy billet mounts.
finish up some wiring, test everything out
then clean the inside and outside of the boat.
tonight i work at 6pm, brown truck doesnt get here until about 7pm usually. so its a long wait for parts.
i got gt's freebies coming today and toms parts coming as well. im leaving friday morning to the river. cutting it close.

Right now there really isn't one.. Nickel and diming. Shit all adds up I usually buy 3 30 packs for myself at the river for one weekend, that doesn't include all the jäger

Lol, OH YEAH! I get it. Tried to keep a file on the Moo project with every receipt and a ledger on the front to keep track of what I had in it, yeah, after a week I said Fuggit because it was, A: Too time consuming, and B: Depressing to think I sank that much into it in such a short period of time, lol. (even kept beer receipts when I had help). I'm a P&L sorta guy, and that sheit was a downer!

Actually I think I'm still on the black side of it, even more so when we lose the "Dark" side running the economy. A lot of what was not used on the Moo, or came off it, will find it's way into the Blue one and the Yellow Submarine.

Looks good what you've done, and done in VERY short time, I'm impressed!

I vote brown duct tape on the seats for now and call it good. (FWIW, I have a very clean set of brown seats in my BLUE boat that I dunno WTF I'm gonna do this winter about (They gotta GO), but no where near the configuration you have currently)

today was another great day, no problems at all, I have pics To post when I get back! Couldn't be going better!!! I'm getting the hang of driving the jet. Left turns are very sketchy , but right turns at planted and flat. I'm so stoked

couple cell phone pix. friends have pix of me drivin it, waitin for the email.
also after a few beers deep, i may have found a name for her

For/ reverse cable was a lil long some some pink zipties took care of it.

oh and the brown ductape can only be found on the internet.
friends out there also got me ropes and towels, and one helped me change out the nozzle, fill the pump oil, greased the pump shafts and re tightened the stuffing box so my boat wasnt filling with water.

lol already did to put the cover on the boat. my buddy said dont worry, he has more of em lol.
forgot to add, she runs a solid fifty. thats seat of the pants run, ill gps er in 2 weeks.
friday, i ran it out and a buddy that used to race said it was running very wet and couldnt even see the keel. so we pulled off the step'n'trim tabs off the back and she lifted way out of the water. im getting better steering, as its not bow steering anymore. alot less twitchy and more predictable. felt like it picked up a couple mph as well.

the bimini came with the boat, it's a nice thick one. Thanks for the compliments it was some work but I'm stoked. It still needs some things here and there but the wife said I can't spend anymore til the season is over.
Tom we shoulda went with the 12' cable, oh well. I'll hook up with you on some more parts when I get my allowance back LOL.
Hopefully I'll have some pix of me driving it today.

took it out this weekend. when i got there friday i did the meguiars 3 stage and am stoked on the results.
found the carb is a 600cfm 4160 series holley.
got a new starter in parker this weekend. all ball bearing hand wound gear reduction for $105 RB performance, guy is super cool and has a great product!!!
went in to launch saturday with a total of 4 people in the boat. got to the water and the bilges didnt work. after 3 hours of chasin it and going to town to get new wiring stuff. just a lil loose connection on the ignition.

got on the water everyone had a blast. we didnt have any other issues the rest of the weekend.

im going out this weekend, i decided im not launching the boat. it will be too busy and allows me to get some work done on the boat. my buddy is gonna rebuild the carb and im gonna try to church up the motor a bit. it needs a little tlc. or maybe some clr. do an oil change and plugs too. anyone run synthetic?
anyone know if a msd box works with a delco hei? my buddy gave me a 6al and a blaster coil. and where should i mount the thing?

Yes the MSD 6al will work with the HEI. I think MSD makes an adapter cover to remove the coil from the cap but I would just get an MSD coil that goes into the stock location.
