Hull looks like it's in great shape! If you want to get the interior done call one of the boat builders and ask them where they get their upholstery done. Then call that shop and they'll most likely make you a kit for $500-800. My friend just got done doing that had to pay $120 in shipping to get them here from Alabama or Virginia or something like that.

Liberty's are killer rough water hulls. Randy used to run wide open through water i'd never touch in my Bonneville.

that's gonna make a great circle boat. congrats.

Jeff Bennett and Jack McClure have tons of knowledge about that hull.

I think next season we'll all figure it out, lilrick will most likely be running against two different Bonneville's.

Is that the same type hull that Randy had? I remember looking at Randy's old boat when Barrett owned it and it seemed a bit more square in the back like a Bahner or Pioneer. Ricks new boat looks more rounded like a Sanger. I'm not saying it is I'm just wondering if they used different tops with the liberty bottom.

Randy's boat was an Eliminator version of the Liberty. The guy that made the first Liberty's had quite a reputation for building one-off quality boats. So you could say that the early Liberty's are "REAL" and the others are well, built by eliminator....

I understand the angle finder on the engine block but what do you use to get the hull level?   The stringers?   The keel?

Level the keel on you boat with a 6' level . Then go from there .

I want a few degrees difference between the pump and the  motor. I put the protractor on the pump first, and then the block to get the variation. The u-joints need a lil load on um .You don't want everything in a perfect line.

Thanks Beerjet,
going to check mine when I have pump out this week, easier then, plus change u-joints...
see what angle I end up with,  now,  shaft line looks the same as pump intake flange?
Maybe Tom can conferm that?  ;)  but should be able to use Pump flange for angle of pump input shaft.
