I've been checking out the site for months, wish we had that kind of support here in NorCal... Anyway, thought I would do my first post. I picked up my first and hopefully only boat late summer. It's a 19 foot 1975 Bayon with a 455 Olds, only took it out once so far and it was a blast. Anyone have experience with a Bayon?


Now if I could figure out how to post pics I would share my pain/pleasure.

and just fyi, since its your first boat, olds have bad oil issues if you hold the throttle for a long period. my .02, buy the OIL restrictor kit from www.mondellotwister.com if you don't have one, it's the reason my motor is getting a new long block. wish someone would have tod me!  :banghead:

Welcome, and I'm a Nor-Cal transplant as of this week.  Stopped by the local marina and was told I shouldn't get any problems from the rangers here for having OT headers, so bring on summer  :mad:  I has snowed every day since I have been here  :sly:
