hey tom, I've been lookin around and you seem to be the go to guy for jet questions. I don't know when the last time my jet was rebuilt was but I added about 100hp (dont know for sure) and the motor sounds bitchin on the trailer but i put it in the water and its a dog...is it my jet? or something with the motor?

oh. and its a 460 ford with a berkeley 12jc. the 460s been rebuilt (with what idk the p.o. didnt really know anything other than its been bored out) its got a performer intake and 750 carb with MSD dist. so it makes good power. the boat is just real slow out of the whole, doesnt want to come off plane, and has no top end...

whts up.. im not tom but i just wanna throw in my 2 sense.. i have a 18 ft boat with a ford 390, stock, and a jacuzzi wj... by what you are sayin somehtng is deff wrong.. i can get out the whole and have top end... my motor is also fresh... from what i hear allot of speed and stufff comes from the jet... i know that my jet holds back my motor.. so maybe that is what is happeneing to you..

ohh and ya tom knows all...
