Well I do have one more...  nasty pic though

what happens when a week link is found  :o

"The Youngblood TX-18 Picklefork Tunnel Hull Jetboat was first manufactured in 1984 in W. Monroe, LA. This hull was trickier to setup, but was successful in both unblown and blown classes. The hull was shorter, narrower and lighter than it predecessor and is very quick. The hull above, driven by Mike Hutson with a Blown Alky engine, ran 142 MPH in 1984 and then Steven Smith ran the hull in the S.D.B.A. & M.D.B.A UBGJ in 1985 & 1986 with speeds over 120 MPH. The boat set records during the 1986 season along with being season Hi-Points Runner Up falling a little behind Mike Straughan driving the new Performance Jetboats of Dallas sponsored Cheyenne boat by the name of 'National Debt'." this quote from http://www.youngbloodjetboats.com/ybevolution.htm

Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. I got to talk to Roger Finney a bit Saturday after the Enduro races and this boat was brought up....he shared some cool stories and he said he has some interesting pictures of it. I hope to see them someday.

The Hass & Correl boat is a Place Craft, The Yellow Sleek Craft is the hull used right before the Aristocraft and tye hydo seems to be ether a sanger or hondo.  Roger Weiman ( Rogers Custom Boates) prototyped one in the late 70's Millet drove one @ Longe Beach but it never developed beyond the prototype stage. It rode just like a Roger's once thew sp[onsons got off the water.

Hey Ralph, notice how far forward the motor is. Looks like Ricks' set up. Did he have some input on his set up?

Thanks old rigger, thats me driving  in the Mammoth shots and holding the bow in the second pic. I was 13 at the time, my cousin was 9, and my uncle would just cut us loose and i'd drive wide open all over that lake. Thats where the whole Roger's thing started for me. If I could find that boat i'd buy it in a heartbeat. Light yellow, lime green metelflake and lime green interior I loved that boat, I would like to add that to the stable of keepers.

Took the family camping about 10 minutes from Mammoth Pools a couple years back.  Best fishing ever!!
On two different days I was catching so many trout that the girls had fried em up and I was eating breafast before I was even done fishing.  My kids went swimming at "the Pools" but damn that water is cold even in late June.  Awesome vacation. I do need to take my boat there some day
