The new cruiser new pics

Just got home with her, its a 77 spectra day cruiser 21 ft. Its in great shape. BBF with a berk JC, place diverter. its a bitchen boat. Im so stoked on it. Origanal gel coat in great shape with the interior being the same. I think we are headed to Elsinore this weekend to get her out. if anyones goind to be out there let me know The only thing i want to do is put a foot throttle in it. Dont realy know or like the hand throttle. Ill get some pics up tomorrow.

If anyone has cool little mods or ways to make it better chime in, I would live to learn a thing or 2 about this thing.

Clean lookin boat. My last was a 77 21' Manta Ray. Splash of your Spectra. Same color combo without the blue strip. That interior looks too new style to be from 77

. Have fun with it. I will be on the water by 9:00am Saturday if you change your mind.

We took the old girl out to San V today. Ran well. a few minor things but its to be expected. motor ran stronger as the day went on. over all really happy with everything.

I ran it up to 47-48 mph and it was still climbing. I would guess 50-55mph. has a 390 horse 460. not sure what impellor cut. Its definatly a cruiser. I hated the idea of a hand throttle on a jet but I kind of liked it for cruising. I think Im stiil going to put a pedal in it.

Ya it was on craigslist. The more I work on it the more I want to change and the more little stuff I find wrong. But for an OG 77 its in great shape.

cool boat. lookin forward to seeing it on the water. The hand throttle is really nice for cruising, foot throttle is really nice for a go-fast boat. You may want to spend your money somewhere else for now, then revisit the foot throttle if you find you really can't stand the hand throttle.
