SOLD 1978 Eliminator Daytona 19

Hull is stripped bare light/medium layup ,Factory capped straight good lines no hooks or anything weird.has light cosmetic damage on right front sponson not through the glass,Sits on a Competitive tandem trailer with longer tongue. This will make a great river boat or turn it into a single seater any questions call, leave message . San Diego area

Went out there on Sunday and look at this boat and was very interestedOne thing that held me back was the damage to the sponson what do you guys think of the damage in the picture?

The only thing that held you back was that I'm firm at 4k and you kept trying to Low ball me,,,, Like I told you this is not the boat for you so move on . Absolutely no water damage nor delame previous owner put glass over the gouge and left it rough.

I feel like 4k is very reasonable, sure needs work but you have to see the big picture. Pay 7-9 for one that doesn't need work.

no sir I have not but being that I've also never seen one sell for less than 4k, it's an eliminator daytona, obviously the owner knows how desirable they are. He's not in a hurry to sell so he wants top dollar for what he has, like he said this boat obviously isn't for you. And if it is then it's 4k don't be cheap trying to buy a hull that is one of the most sought after.

I wouldn't worry about the damage or the flat keel. Boats worth what he is asking and then some. A brand new one with all the goodies will cost you 15 to 17 out the door. Personally I think it's a steal. 👍👍👍👍 good luck with the sale.

Nobody's being cheap buddy I know the Daytona like the back of my hand that thing is worth three grand only do the math this is my 1988 21 Daytona I bought a complete running boat with a setback pump for $8000 and you're telling me that thing is worth four

That Daytona needs 3 k worth of work
Floors need to be flow coated it's really Worth. 2800 to 3200 u would be in that build fully restored 9 to 12 k

If you got that 21 for 8 grand congrats. That thing looks beautiful, I've always loved green boats. With that being said, you try to find a daytona for Cheeper less everything.

Did you buy your Daytona for the engine, pump or hull......hmm yeah I think that answers that. Try to find one for less then 4k, I'll be waiting. You want to know why it's 4k... Because he said it is. You have never heard of supply and demand have you. Supply low, demand high= higher price. It's simple don't buy it or don't be cheap and pay 4k. The boat has potential plain and simple. Lots of people like these boats and will pay the money because it will be gone before you know it. Good day sir.

Being that I owned a very nice daytona that was featured in performance boats magazine with an injected bbc I feel like I should throw in my 2 cents

For $4k the boat looks ok. It's a clean stripped hull. There is no intake set and there are some things that may need to be fixed. I bought my hull for alot more and sold it for alot more. The boat is a great project boat. Pictures never do anything justice. When you show up and put your hands on it that's when you can tell. My personal opinion is that $4k is a little steep, however I can't buy the boat anyways so I am not looking. I know for a few more grand you can buy a really nice daytona that needs power and it's already clean with polished floors. You can buy daytonas minus motors for 6 to 14 all day long. But we have all bought and sold boats before and you ALWAYS find stuff that needs to be fixed, ALWAYS. I really think that all the guys giving this man shit for selling a hull should give him a break. Be curious and don't kill a sale. If he wanted 10k for the boat let him try. If you aren't buying the boat then don't fuck it up for someone else. GLWS. If I didn't buy a house, get engaged, planning a weddijg, got a new puppy, that boat would be in my drive way getting another injected bbc
