im looking to race comp jet and im looking for a boat. have cash or a real nice 2 seat vw powered turbo sand rail to do some trading with let me know whats out there thanks shane

My Bahner is an x comp jet race boat from way back....

How bout some pics of the rail? and what exactly you looking for, complete boat or just a hull ?

Gonna have to run nostalgia in that . I forget what old gear box is in that Hondo . It was real nice lookin ride when I went to go see it .

He wasnt selling it at the time . He's got a bunch of posters with the boats history and pictures on it . I'm not exactly sure what it is he's ultimatley tryin to get but the boat is in pretty good shape . Dont know why he's selling it

Its a sweet ride , but the box in it blows and it's probably it's only draw back . Hell it might even be a top loader . I have a buddy that has a runner bottom that literally all it needs is a motor . The boat itself is pretty dinged and chipped and the trailer is in desperate need of help. Not all together a bad deal I dont think . I'm nowhere even in the vacinity of being ready to step up to a race flat , not even nostalgia . I've always wanted to restore a flat and have it as a lake cruiser . Hondo too . Just not that one .

I know where there is a Hondo............wrong thread. The box is only two gears and four bearings, bearings you can get anywhere. You can go 80.9 in a flat a hell of a lot easier then in a jet.

i dont recall the 2 hulls that made up this hull....its 2 wrecked boats that were frankenstined together to make this one.....i believe the deck is from a tunnel southwind....cant recall what the bottom was.
