The step about 12" deep from the transom is very interesting.  Don't think its 16k interesting, but Id be interested in hearing more about it

Arneson drive. I’ve seen some big race boats with that type of drive, but not a 18’ lo profile runabout with a 350. There is probably a reason they weren’t used a lot on small ski boats. But t it is different.

Iv seen that setup for sale off and on for quite awhile, definitely a cool boat but I'd put a couple of stand-ups above it instead of lake lice

My dad and I saw one years ago, with an outboard.  We stopped and talked to they guy.  He said almost all outboards, except for one jet and one sterndrive.  Despite the aggressive/advance look, he said it wasn't very fast - heavy and cumbersome. 

Totally buying this. Lol
