Howard/Crusader I/O f.s.

1988,23' "off shore" type hull. SBC w/ Volvo 290 sp outdrive. I've had this for 5yrs and never ran in water only on hose. Motor sounds healthy with some new gaskets showing. Outdrive shifts,no weird grumbling when turning. Gel's good, couple gouges, none onto fabric. Interior good, all real tuck n roll,no tears or rips. Nice bimini, "stainless" fittings.
The 350Chevy's starter needs shims or it is wrong, grinds bad and the drive "sinks". The pump probably needs rebuilding or seals.
The trailer's wheels and tires are new,0miles. Needs bunks and carpet now! Needs paint, has some rust.
Yeah it's not a jet,but it it a beautiful, unique Crusader, make a really nice prop job. I'm pretty much out of space and time. I really hate to see this boat go to shit. 6K or offer.

I have the same exact boat with a 454/Bravo I. This thing rides incredibly well and to those in the know is a very desirable design.

If I was looking do get into another one,  I would but it in a heart beat and put a Duo Prop lower on it. Honest 60mph cruiser (with a Duo ) probably 50 to just under 55 the way it sits.

GLWS.

Kind of cramped down there. That pad is super firm, and heavy.
All that wiring is to the radio system. Couple of apps stuck off in there someplace, challenging for an the audiophile.

Gt jets,I understand these things propagate when paired up.....something to think about. That BB and Bravo sounds excellent. The DP just sounds smooth, bet that would be.
Thank you guys for the intrest and comments, this thing needs a better home than I can give it right now.
