The guy that bought that boat from us took it back stripped it down to the fiberglass and stopped, something happend.  So I imagine its just sitting somewhere ready for paint and rigging.  If we could find it again, it would be the perfect project for you

This guy I know is into old boats and even old molds. He lives in Az and as I write this is on his way to so cal to pick up 3 sets of vintage molds. I've talked to the owner of the molds myself a few times because I had hoped he had one set that I'd be interested in, the guy I know bought all the good ones. lol. We'll see.

Anyway one of the molds is supposed to be the old Howard 20 shovel mold. Which would be kinda cool in itself...except Howard burnt the molds to the ground after one to many of his friends got killed in them. The engines started to exceed the capibalities of the hull, or at least they didn't know how to rig them back in the day to make them safer, his words, so he drenched them with lighter fluid and set them a fire.

It will be interesting next week to see just what they turn out to be.
