That's a tuff one bud jets are my number one pic but that thing is bad ass and handles the chop way better just my opinion tho

I don't get the whole hot rod pontoon boat thing.  Just its name is an oxymoron.  I would love a pontoon, my parents had one, and what made it cool to me was cruising around and relaxing. It had a whopping 40hp o/b on it.  A 540 in a pontoon?    
Put that 540 in a 21 Ultra Deck boat with a fully built jet, now we're talking.  There's your river family hot rod that seats 10 comfortably. That's how I'd drop 40g's, that is if I had 40g's to drop.
