Seen all of those lol. Thanks for the post. I talked to the guy with the last one but I'm not to familiar with fords ( were are a Chevy family ). So my question is are they reliable ?

Me and my little brother both run fords, a lot of people run them. My understanding is the parts are pretty easy to find, a little more expensive compared to a chevy.

I'm not a die hard with way. Grown up all over the place, neither really made me push either way. Just the kind of cars I've owned are all over the board. As long as it has a motor and I can modify it to make it a little faster.

When I was looking for a boat the only thing I shied away from was an olds or mopar, and anything other than a berk.

But whats the price difference on rebuilding after it blows up. Is the main factor when choosing.

I wouldnt think there is a diffrence price wise on a N/A motor.
Blower stuff seems to be scarce for the Ford's which would drive the price up but beyond that....

as far as the spectra goes my friend has a Southwind splash of that spectra and that ole girl has porpoise issue even though we've tried ride plate went from jetovator to place diverter wedge adjustments trim tabs off lower transom still cant run WOT Flat out without issue.

Solid boat though have that round nose which is different. Had bow flex till we built a truss under it. I always thought cocktail seating was cool till two guys over 6'2 try to sit in back to drink a beer. But a Igloo icechest will fit between the seats nicely lol

He said he just replaced the head gaskets cause it started to run hot and found the water jackets clogged. He says the motor looks perfect and runs the same

If this is the one you are talking about, this boat was for sale at the end if last season in Orange for $3500. I tried talking to the guy multiple times, wouldn't answer my questions straight and kept telling me to come look at. Never went a saw it because the guy was never able to saw it.
