Am just noticing a slight problem with my '06 and wonder of it's related? As it's getting colder out, truck runs like absolute crap 'til it warms up. Won't upshift cruising down my street until it does warm up (does if I feather the throttle, but annoying). Does not seem to be losing coolant, but does throw a lot of white smoke sometimes when I'm in a hurry in the morning and just gotta get going and feather the shit out of the throttle for a block or two. Truck has 140K on it.
No check engine lights, or any lights for that matter, Exhaust temps seem normal, oil looks fine. Truck always serviced at a Ford Dealer here in town. Is this an indicator of a problem?
All the diesel fuel locally, unless I hit the truck stops at the I-8 and I-10 intersection and get good 'ole straight #2, are now "up to 15% Biodiesel". Is that whats causing all this?
