Unfortunately time to sell my '74 Pinto wagon. My daily driver for 5 years, runs exceptionally well. Originally came with a 2.0l 4-speed, the original owner converted it to a 2.3l C3 auto. Odometer shows 156,490 miles, but it's not accurate as the big and littles make the speedo off by about 15%. Not a big deal though since this car has been maintained & modified better than far newer cars.
New: radiator, starter, distributor, Esslinger adjustable cam sprocket (currently 2* advanced), motor mounts
Very recently replaced: 2.3 shortblock bored 1mm over, rack, spring bushings, rear shocks, carpet, water pump, battery, Comp Cams (higher lift, tad more duration). Custom carb spacer to raise the intake plenum.
AM/FM/CD/USB/ stereo, 6" 2-way front speakers, 6x9 2-way rear speakers. Needs a few things, and has the normal dings (what 41 year old car doesn't?), but is a blast to drive. There's more I'm sure, but it's a car you have to see to appreciate.

It's funny.... I have people emailing me, lowballing me without even having seen it in person. First one without their head up their a$$ gets it

With a divorce rate of over 87% in the USA why would anyone in there right mind do it. I guess there still is those who are insecure or prey on the insecure. Just think of all the things you could of kept or even achieved on a lone path not using someone....makes you a solid independent individual. It cost a grip just to date but at least you can escape an on to the next.

Where did you come up with 87%? Even the generally accepted 50% is misleading as many divorced people get divorced again skewing the figure. Sounds like ya gots a little baggage.....

Nope... never married or any kids. I still have everything as well. Didnt fall for the bait an switch. An its a national percentage which gets worse every year.

So everyone has the facts and not opinion (and to get a "For Sale" thread back on track).

Want something economical and reliable.  The modern suck boxes just don't do it for me.

Now the real test of self control for me is, reliable transportation or AnthonyH3's 71 Hallett?
