it floats  ..didnt run all that good  i need to put a kit in the carb..   but it didnt  take on a lot of water  so thats good

thanks  we had the rear bench out  just to make sure no oil or water was spurting out of places it shouldnt..  after the carb rebuild i hope we should be good to go..  maybe some polishing to get the gold flake to shine out of the poop brown..

thanks.. i dont know if you remember  but your answer to my seat build thread  made it happen..  so thanks  and thanks  again  i got this boat because of the looks.  we all love it to..  thanks again   hope to meat up sometime.. i know your in long beach  but maybe ill drag it down to smells some more.. lol 

so it has been a busy few days workin on and playin with the boat..   first  test on monday morn   a bit windy  had a little chop    not bad   just trying to run some bad gas out   after rebuilding the carb..     worked great  the secondaries  opened up  and she went well just a tiny little stumble  from about 3500  rpm  to wot..  came back to the folks pad   and  wet sanded  from the rub rails up   and  you guys aint kiddin  crewchief22    the thing looks like glass   well worth the time  and sore arms and fingers.. tues morn   get two 5 gal cans and hand pump  and sucked  out 10 gals  of crap out of the tanks,  full of my fiberglass tanks  and whatever else  was in side..  then  went down to the local airport  pulled right  up to the pump  and filled up  with  100 LL  for  5.20  a gal ..  such a deal    at those prices  i will never put pump gas it again. fixed  a small val. cover gasket leak  and a little water leak on the t stat housing  and did a bunch of laps around the lake   ..  she rides really nice . the more we had it out the more comfy  i got  feeling how she handeld  and stuff.  wednesday morn  was the first fam run   took the wife  and daughter *(baby )   the wife liked  and the kid fel asleep  after a bit  when i was gettin on it  no crying  or nothing  she seemed to like it ..super sweet  i am stolked   both of the women liked it   we beached for a bit  and swam   had a real nice day at the lake   . pics  comin up

Cool, glad you guys had a good time. Be careful with those fiberglass tanks. They are a ticking time bomb. The fiberglass resin doesn't like the new gas nowadays. I replaced mine last year with some aluminum ones. Keep an eye out on Craigslist or something for some tanks that will fit your hull.

yep  i know on the tanks  that is why  i spent the extra dough on the av gas 100LL  it shouldnt have the ethonal  in it ,,  plus it smells  good out of the pipes     no gas leaks  in it   they are both pretty solid so far  thanks for the heads up
