454 BBC rebuild ...

Starting the rebuild on my 454 today .. got the block back yesterday from machine shop .. block decked.. bored ... line bored .. can bearings installed ..hot tanked.. now time to do a thorough cleaning process .. debur block and get bottom end installed .. all parts ready to go .. need to get back on the water asap!!

Cam im not sure yet... gonna end up putting on some 049 heads I think ... not trying to be the fastest on the water.. just want some good solid power And keep it reliable.. as well as sound healthy and good ... lol ...

Forged crank installed and main bearings .. have everything balanced etc.. tomorrow set up the rods and pistons and get them in ...

Gonna button up the motor in the morning.. pistons and everything installed.. just need to pop on manifold valve covers .. and all the little crap .. prime motor.. run it.... and drop in boat.. .. fingers x!!!
