Flailing parts did the spark plug damage. Not the other way around.

He's lucky those flailing parts didn't make it back up the intake and down into other cylinders. I've seen that more times than I can count...

What pistons?  I have a few sets of "7". Hahaha

I have some single heads too.

What casing numbers are you playing with? What bore size?

piston was a speed pro hypertectic dome 110 . .40 over.

I will talk to the machinist man someone tomorrow. .

088's? Is it F'ed over? Look fixable?  How about the block?

The piston is easy. You can buy singles of Speed  Pros.

The ones I have I will have to look at. I think they are .060" over.

the head looks unharmed. same as the cylinder from what I can see. but I need to get the piston out to see the whole cylinder.

Sorry to see your troubles!  Had a thought since the valves got smacked pretty hard... maybe think about pressure testing that head to be sure the exhaust guide isn't disturbed or damaged.  They run through the water passage in the head so if they move or crack they can leak coolant.
