Yesterday while in chat it came up that you couldn't have a 502 Chevy run on pump gas, no bottle, no forced induction, 9ish to 1 compression, and get 700 HP. Ford lover's said "you can't believe everything you read" and "where's the dyno sheet?"... I did tell them the dyno sheet wasn't posted but they did post a dyno sheet for a 502 Chevy, 9ish to 1 compression, no bottle, no forced induction, etc... that got 660 HP on pump gas. You Ford lovers keep forgetting that it's a

So if I could do the same with my 427 and if I could actually pay for it I might end up with a 593 HP 427 which is real close to what I'd like to eventually have (600 HP 427), a 80 mph Rogers 18' Bonneville. LOL ;D

I have already been pricing out that setup (recepie) described on that hotboat thread. ;D Might be a little too much HP for my deep entry hull though.
....on a side note, I just picked up a 12jg for $270.

Craig Millet has "mas balls" for running that Cyclone as fast as he did! How much $ does that 502 recipe come out to? I'm guessing $8,000. ???

The JB pump has the same components as the JC and JG. The JG is a split bowl like the JB except the outlet vanes of bowl extend all the way to the nozzle housing flange of the bowl, where as the JB doesnt. It's the only difference.

You have to understand that these guys like Ford's, even though Plesh's engine is a Chevy ??? , and that a "virtual dyno" sheet ain't going to work for them. ;)

yes i am a ford guy, but i know that the cj410 is a 496 and his rogers hauls the mail. and just a thought if you plan on racing it in circles the nos class has no ci limit but if the bring comp jet back the limit is 500ci

Call Erik up, he can tell you anything and everything you need to know. He can probably send you a copy of a dyno sheet from a 489 or something running 91 with 700HP
