8mm vs 10mm spark plug wires

I have the option to buy either.  Not sure if it makes a huge difference for a non performance boat.  I'm Running a 455 olds on a 19' omega.  Thoughts?

What ignition system?

Buy 8mm Taylor customs.

10mm is just larger jacketing and harder to find inexpensive wire retainers.

Anything over 8mm is overkill for a stocker.
