my bad....i use caps lock for everything at work

i was thinkin of drilling a really small hole in the underside of the cap just to let the air out...

just pretty much i asking in your guys opnion whats the best thing to do

I looked at my caps and they have a spring loaded center piece.  Maybe you could find some new ones for cheap that are like that.

Well I dont have any problems with fuel spilling or anything so if I was you, I would go with what I have.

Are the rubber inserts sealing correctly?  I think you can adjust them with the screw in the center.

ill have to check that tonight

can you get new inserts if the ones i have are jacked up?
or do you have to buy the whole fuel fill

Dont take my advice on this as a sure way to do things but maybe you could find a sheet of rubber that is about the same thickness and cut out some new seals.  Just a thought anyways.

They sell rebuild kits for that , if thats the case buy one or you might make it worse ???

I seen them last year @ CP Performance , but just checked the site and didnt see em.. Maybe Tom @ jetboatperformance or just call the marine shops..CP , REX , and so on ;)
