BBC Oil pressure to high ?

Good day all ,

Pretty much stock 454 gen 4 and ran VR1 20/50 with WIX filter last year and ran fantastic. Before heading out for first trip this year changed oil and filter same type as last year. Took her for a run this last weekend and seems oil is coming out wherever possible such as pan gasket , intake and heads. All amounts of oil coming out is small amount other than pan gasket. Oil pressure is showing 80 and water temp is showing 140 to 160. Running logs.
Have not changed anything from last year other than
PCV valve and new breather which show no signs of oil escaping from these. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello all ,
So installed mechanical pressure gauge and it showed as follows.
Idle 68 psi
2000 rpm 80 psi
4000 rpm 90 psi
5000 rpm 100 psi
Pulled oil filter and checked pressure relief and works fine. Installed another new filter. Ran it at havasu this last weekend and ran great but
No change has happend. Engine still bleeding oil and oil pressure is high. What else can I do to determine what is wrong ? Is there a relief valve in oil pump and if something is wrong with that would it cause to much pressure ? Trying to figure out without pulling engine. Any input would be appreciated.

Possibly a cam bearing has slipped and covered up one of the oiling holes. That can cause oil pressure to back up. Is it a new rebuild?

Also the pressure relief valve in the oil pump might have failed.

No sir. Not a rebuild. If relief valve failure would that cause high oil pressure ?

I have never experienced it but I have read if the pressure relief valve/spring in the pump goes bad it will cause high pressure.
