What's a good starter for the ford 460? We put in a cheap vatozone one just to get it on the water but now it's time to step it up a notch. What starters are you guys running?

I was reading up on this and I came to the conclusion that using a PMGR starter from a 1993 and up bbf is best for the price. Does anyone have any info on this?

I've known the 1993-up factory F250 mini starters to light 4-figure hp engines as big as 665 cubes. Don't know why you'd need any more than that as far as starter motors go.

   What is the F250 referring to

I'm picking one of the F250  starters & getting it marineized (if that's a word)
