OK.. So far this year I got the boat out 3 times.. The first time out I milked up the oil real bad and thought I did something wrong. Then the next time out the filter clogged to the banderlog valve that I have controlling my water flow to the headers. Today I paid close attention to what was going on. Barely over idle it was dripping water from the drain holes. This scared me and I pulled the ground and power wires to the valve. Then I barely opened the ball valve coming out of the valve and set it to come on at 2000 RPM's. It was still dripping a little bit from the headers. Now I have seen people mention "exhaust reversion" and I think I have something like that going on.. ? Its a Comp solid roller, 300BR-14. This is there only solid roller blower cam. Does anyone one have any experience with these cams? Before the rebuild and with the old came i could adjust the water injection valve and get the white fog that is suppesed to come out of the headers. Also I have mentally prepared my self to get a new cam but Im not really excited about changing the valve springs. Who would be the best person/ company to talk to about this?
I would not jump all the way to a cam change, not by any stretch.
First things first, have you checked to make sure the Banderlog valve shuts off?
I think more research needs to be done, there should be very little water dripping from the weepers at idle, how slow do you have her idling?
Maybe it just needs to feel loved...
