Has anyone ever tried Blue Job Chrome Polish for blueing of the bassetts?

no but there is some other stuff that works really well if you can find it any more ! its called autosol its in a tube.

Yup works pretty good. Just make sure u use a orbital sander or orbital polisher. Makes it alot easier and u will only see true results using that...
