There's usually marks on the cam lobs. It usually gos up one side of the lobe, centers out at the top, and goes down a side on the return side. A cam will have a wear mark at the very top, and if that wear marks goes all the way across means it's been good and used, but if it's centered on the lobe it has some life left in it

I have a cam dr, it reads out the lift, duration(advertised),duration at .050, lobe separation angle, ramp rates etc. I charge $15.00 for the readout. You can meet me at my Havasu house or ship it here,(Avondale,AZ) TIMINATOR 623-877-8553
