Carb. help
« on: June 11, 2008, 08:59:25 PM »
I just put new re-built kit a my holly 850, Now when I turn on the fuel pump, fuel pours out it sec. overflow and under the shooters. The pri. is fine. I turn my float all the way down i thought it would help. Could it be the check valve under the acc. pump. I din't bent the bar because it was working fine before. Any body know what I'm not seeing?

When mine did that is was the float setting.  I adjusted the float level until the fuel just came to the bottom of the bowl check screw.  If this isnt it maybe the float needle assembly has debris or is not connected properly?

That would do the same thing, if the float don't float >:D  it will just keep dumping gas until it SHOOTS out of the vent tubes (dont ask me how I knowthis >:D)
