With 130,000 you're lucky that the plugs came out at all  :screwy:

We get about a dozen Fords a year that have plugs blown out of the v8s & v10s.  I've been told by a Ford dealer that using any other brand of plug has a lot to do with the plugs blowing out.  I think it has more to do with improper torque in the aluminum heads.

Good luck with the repairs  ;D

Ya crew I did some calling around, asking questions, and all I did get from them all was that the V10 engines have that problem, not the 5.4"s. They were all surprised when I said 5.4. Thanks for the good luck  ;)  I did have an exhaust leak, from where, who the hell knows, I looked and listened and couldnt figure it out, for the life of me. Well now I know where he hell it was coming from

They both have the problem, but I agree that it does seem to be more often in the V10.  :screwy:

In my 3/4T with shoes in the back I got about 45 - 55K and did always have to replace rotors but never from damage resulting from "pushing the limits".
New 1/2T Mega has 3/4T running gear and I am at 28K with lots left.   But I drive the 91 to Corona everyday so I never drive faster than 30 mph unless I'm going to the river  >:D
