DP fuel fitting?
« on: August 05, 2008, 06:52:41 PM »
is it ok to turn the dubble pumpers fuel line around so it picks up from the rear of the carb first? my fuel pump is mounted on the transom! I like keeping fuel lines as short as possible! It's a 750 Dp..

A liquid (gas) has equal presure in all directions. You may lose a little presure if your fuel line was....say 40 ft long.

I figured it would be ok. the fuel dosent really flow till ya hit the gas right! the shorter the fuel line the less time it takes to get to the motor right?   It's not like I'm running all that motor that you guys are running..... at least not this season!

line length doesnt really matter, what you put in one end comes out the other. Look at cars with the tank/pump in the rear
