I run both of my boat without water. i run- 8 lines in and just one -10 line out from the manifold.

back into the lake. you wouldnt want to have it dump into your ice chest you'd warm up all your beers!

Post by: lbhsbz on April 04, 2014, 05:46:27 PM: Yes. I like to run the dump up on the side of the boat next to the drivers seat so you have a visual reference as to cooling flow....if the water stops flowing, you'll notice it faster than on the temp gauge and can shut it down earlier

Not sure how much has changed at the lakes regarding running dry headers but at the river you'll never get hassled. Imo dry headers are not that much louder then no baffle wet headers.
