IMHO, you would be wise to wire in a cube relay to eliminate the parasitic voltage drop from the long wire runs, then run the third terminal (silver) to another cube relay powering the relay with the "I" terminal on the starter solenoid, this powers the fuel pump before there is oil pressure for more trouble free starting...

You can start by installing a fuel pressure gauge.

What is the desired fuel pressure?   

Also is this the fuel separated you suggest?

After stressing, many trips to the hardware store and auto parts store. This is the final product. Looks kinda cheesy, but for a rookie I'm happy with it! I had to find a way to mount the ignition bracket because the flame arrestor didn't like where I had it before! As of now no leaks (cross my fingers). Still gotta put it in the water to she how she does. Seems to be running a lil rich, because I'm getting a lil smoke from the exhaust (I think that's a sign of being rich). With that I also picked up a jet kit, to tune but don't have that holley ear. You tube has been my new friend lately. So if anyone would like to help with fine tuning that would be awesome.
Before I forget, thanks for everyone's replies, info, and tips!

Comon out to blythe this weekend, its only a couple hours from you, will be on the island by goose flats hopefully.
We launch from McIntyre park and head up river to the island
