Hi guys, so my exhaust runs thrue transom under my swim step below the water line and im wondering if its possible to move it above the swim step?

Can i just cap the old holes and cut out new ones about 8 inches higher then run like an elbow from the water logs? If this is possible where could i get the block offs and elbows?

The exhaust is very quite and im looking for a bit more sound. My buddy's is above the swim step and it sounds great.

Its an olds 455 with the harden water logs. If its a pain and wont change much then im good whith what's there lol spent enough time on the dry dock
