Anyone ever get their logs (manifolds) decked/surfaced before. I have a exhaust leak and am thinking the logs might have a little warping going on. Looking for a machine shop near me to get it done in a timely manner. Im in Fullerton Ca
If i get some free time tonight at work, ill play with it and post it for everyone to see.
Time to man up and yank it John! Ray
Always. My dad's shop used to have one of the old cylinder head deck belt sanders, worked killer. You don't see them much anymore. GT
awesome found a shop pretty close to me that does all kind of machine work going ti take them down there tomorrow. Hopefully its less expensive then i think. Ha ha
We used to do aluminum ones for $20 each in 2006, headers for $30, iron factory Ford 460 truck manifold for $50, those fukkers were hard as diamonds. Good luck. GT
Thanks GT. The place i was looking at is called Q&E machine shop in Anaheim they got tons of good reviews. See what happens!!
If time becomes a problem, check with local old school muffler shops. I know the guys at Redlands Muffler can do it, but a little far from the OC.
BBF, BBC or BBO? If its ford an you have the flange type...don't waste your money. Find a set of thru bolt.
