Hey guy, doing  a new build and using flat top pistons with bevel, what gasket should I use to get most compression?

No clues on what piston/ bore size, head cc, stroke, etc.

118 cc head, .041" gasket and a 4.250 bore and 4" stroke, speed pro l2377f pistons, .025" in the hole-  7.73 C/R
110 cc head, same combo- 8.14 C/R

This is dismal.

need WAAAAAAYYYYY more specs.

366? 396? 402? 427? 454? 496? 502? 572?

Stroke? rod length?
Piston #?
Head casting #, & cc's? (and ya need to check, some heads will vary 4cc's camber to chamber, let alone head to head)

Type of build? stock, blown, turbo'd, jet boat, dump truck....

there are guys here that are a LOT smarter than I am.

Block is 454, 30 over, gen 4 with gen5 heads. Oval ported heads, stock stroke
