I got 2 barrels of fuel stored in my garage. one is about 1/4 full and the other is 3/4 full.
the 1/4 full one never really builds a ton of pressure, but i hear it throughout the day klink, klank and pop as the garage warms up and cools down. its mostly in the afternoon when the sun starts beating on the garage door.
the 3/4 full one builds pressure like a mofo. you cant even depress the top by leaning on it. it feels like its going to pop ALL the time. I have opened it up a couple of times to relieve the pressure, but it just gets pressurized again. I assume doing this continuously will degrade the quality of the fuel.
i know im not storing them in ideal temperature conditions, but besides storing them in the living room, what should i do?
not even sure if its legal or even smart to store this much fuel in my garage when temperatures are exceeding 100 degrees daily.
