fuel filters
« on: June 07, 2012, 01:39:11 AM »
I was wondering if there are any performance advantages to running a "performance" fuel filter. I am running two universal cheapo filters; 1 from each tank, then into blue holley pump, then into a glass filter with lots of clearance around the glass. Psi is around 7 right before my 750 holley non DP carb. Am i ok as long as PSI stays up? Its a stock gen v 454...any opinions about the cheap universal style metal filters? I change twice during the season. Clear filter looks clean still.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
