Gas tank flush

So a buddy bought a 96 shockwave last year and one outta the two tanks has got some pretty bad sediments in it to the point he can't use that side, he called B&D marine and there a lil pricey for him at 800 bucks..... Anyone out there with any suggestions or has anyone ever flushed a tank and how hard is it and what chemicals did you use.

drain the tank and clean it out with Sea foam. Ive done 3 sets of tanks that way. works well

If he can pull it out a good radiator shop will clean it out for no more than a 100 bucks
