Noticed a irregularity in my logs.Looks like cylinder exhaust ports 1 & 3 have been welded up. Is this a normal place for then to need repair? Or had this not been port matched, seems weird only the one port side.

Don't take this the wrong way, I would melt those down and make some garden art or something.....

Not saying they can't be fixed, saying it's likely not worth the effort or the risk given the reward.

It will be difficult to differentiate where it's really thin.

With 15# or so of water pressure on those, things can happen fast.

Just my opinion. Whatever you do, pressure check them well.

Ok Gt in your opinion, what is the best center riser to start saving my money for? If they don't leak is the performance difference to center riser that much more? I was told the hardin logs are some of the best logs  to run.

EMI, Kodiak, Stainless Marine, IMCO, Marine Power all make killer products.

The performances difference probably isn't in the exhaust itself really. It's more that you can modify the engine more with a higher, more equal length exhaust system.

thats pretty, I like how neat the plug wires are run.  That looks like a runner how much horsepower? Hopefully my logs will be ok. I left some of the weld. I'm going to pressure test them just to be safe. What are you going to replace with?
