so after tearing my olds 455 apart im pretty sure the crank needs replaced ,. i know that Eagle seems to make a good crank but ive read alot of different opinions and would like a few current ones lol ,

some people say that the Eagle crank will still need to be machined down a bit to be perfect ,. then other people say they have had good luck with running them right out of the box ,.what do you guys think about them ?



sorry for all the question on here lately , this boat has tweaked my mind a bit i think  ,.. after it blew up i wanted to sell it ,. 54 hrs later i have the entire motor apart and even washed the hull after that , WTF  LOL

Ralph speaks the truth.  Trust nothing.  Measure everything yourself.  Don't trust a machine shop to check anything out either.  I've got tools for loan should you need them.  Like the saying goes....if you want it right, do it yourself.
