I pulled apart my engine today to find out that my intake valves have touched the pistons. So I am going to have to have the heads gone through. Who have you guy's used with good results here in the IE? Thanks for the heads up!

All of them? Did it still have compression? If they are hitting I think having your heads gone through is just a start.

I USED AMCAL IN COLTON GHETTO BUT DOES GOOD WORK PRETTY CHEAP TOO. 824-1439

Yeah, the timing chain was out of phase. I don't know about compression I didn't check but I want the engine to stay together for a while so while its apart I better take care of everything.

So there is only one place that does heads thats worth while?

This guy is awesome but I think he only works on aluminum heads

My buddy had his head on a 73 Datsun P/U and when he unloaded the clutch it pulled one front wheel off the ground :o

I've had work done at both of these places with good results.
For relatively stock heads I would go to Cylinder Head Technologies in Riverside (951) 684-9334
or
For performance head work I would go to Dougans Machine in Riverside (Pedley) (951) 681-1961

I don't know what heads you have but it might cost the same to just buy aftermarket heads than to rework yours depending on what you want done.
