What to us when you clean those pesky, ugly, worthless ceramic coated headers.

Well MP I just wanted to be ready for the inevitable when it comes as Bunger experienced.



Maybe keep some ceramic cleaner in the tool bag for fast easy cleanup. Even chrome headers can be ruined by a plastic bag or swim trunks permanently.

I wonder why you guys are having issues. I didn't get mine coated at embee, so maybe it's a different coating. Anything and everything that melted to the header (including a Snap On timing gun) melted off leaving no stains...

A1 exhaust in Santa Ana. They specialize in VW exhausts and he just put my headers in a batch of his stuff.
He told me this coating has its own patent... Probly a bunch of BS. But it worked great for me. I've since sold the boat but my uncles best friend has it and they still look great. Here's a shot when they were brand new

  I'm familiar with a1, they make some trick setups (I'm a Vdub guy) thanks for the info. Mine were done by embee and have gone to shit.
