Sorry to hear about your "big problem" there GC...I started laughing before i even clicked on this, but hey i had that same problem...i noticed that this has occured around the time of towing your spectra trailer...i too had this problem with my truck when one of the wires wore through on the trailer and grounded itself out...i ended up replacing all of those fuses and fixed the worn through wire, and has been fine ever since! maybe start with the basics!
