I can't understand why anyone would need cam specs to dial in a T/R. I don't know that Hardin Marine ever offered a 429. Regardless of whether its a 429 or a 460, the Hardin Marine spec cam was around 488 INT 498 EXH or somewhere thereabouts.
The T/R will help, but engine's factory heads will begine backing up in the exhaust ports above about 4500 rpm with that setup. Porting of the factory D3VE heads exhaust port on those engines is paramount for any substantial performance improvment. The engine will run fine and run strong just as is, but with the portwork, it will be transformed a la Jeckyl and Hyde.
